Former singer Grind Winnow, Hamisi Kayumbu 'Amigolas' days of his life.



President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete professor has sent condolences to the Minister for Information, Youth, Culture and Sports, Hon. Fenella Mukangara Musician mourning the death of the founder of the popular band Grind Winnow, and later Leader of the Band Ruvu Star, Khamisi Kayumbu popular as Amigolas (pictured).

"Nimehuzunishwa with concern reports of the death of singer Khamisi Kayumbu happened on November 9, 2014 at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) where he was admitted for treatment of heart disease," said the President in his greetings.

President Kikwete has said he recognizes the great contribution of the late Amigolas, to encourage the development of our country, through the art of music
